The Vestibule
Entering the Front Vestibule with its 14 foot ceilings, yellow damask wallpaper and antique crystal chandelier is sure to take your breath away. This chandelier is the oldest chandelier in Crenshaw Hall. Straight ahead you see a pair of glass paned doors constructed in an ogee style which is consistent with Gothic Revival architecture that was popular in America from the time it was introduced in the 1830s. Gothic Revival is often found used with Italianate style.
