"Crenshaw hall is an old but beautiful historic home that provides a great setting for weddings and receptions. John and Christie, who manage Crenshaw Hall are very pleasurable to work with and were very thrilled to have us there. You can tell they love their job! And that makes a difference. The upstairs is gorgeous, which was perfect for my wife and her bridesmaids to get ready in prior to the wedding. The women's dressing room (as I call it) is huge and gives much space to accommodate a bride and all of her bridesmaids. The backgrounds for pictures work great from a photography perspective and the lighting is perfect throughout most of the day, upstairs and downstairs. We even took engagement pictures outside in the fall, amongst the trees, and it was gorgeous!"

"Another difference from this place than most places is that John and Christie do more than just plan your wedding. They help by setting up packages for you, which include many of the basic needs for a wedding or reception, i.e. a DJ, caterer, and florist. The packages they set up make it much easier for most couples, because you just choose who you want to do what, and they set up the rest! It takes much stress off of the hands of the couple getting married. And as far as cost goes, they worked with us a great deal. We were working on a budget and they understood that and helped us as much as they could. That definitely meant a lot to us!"

"Highly recommend from us! It's a beautiful setting, with good management, and many options. Inside or outside, it's great for weddings and receptions. The tent outside, although we didn't use it, looks very nice and would work wonderfully for a larger guest list of over 90. The pictures on the website, do not give justice to it. We Used Historic Crenshaw Hall as our venue for our wedding in May 2009. This is the most incredible venue for your rehearsal dinner and/or wedding ceremony and/or wedding reception - we did all three at Crenshaw Hall! Crenshaw Hall was very flexible with allowing us to meet with them repeatedly, meet vendors on-site, and allowing us to have my bridal portraits taken there as well. You MUST see this venue...the outside bridal garden is beautiful for a small or large wedding and the entrance from the bridal porch makes for wonderful pictures, as does the "Gone with the Wind" style of the front veranda. The interior of the historic home has been renovated and is simply stunning. Once we added the flowers and the linens, the interior of the home was breathtaking and we have so many incredible pictures showcasing the Hall's unique and classic design. The brick courtyard between the house and the tented area was perfect for our Rehearsal Dinner and made a wonderful outside transition between the two venues. The large tented area, could easily accommodate almost any size function and once "dressed up" with lighting, tables, linens, and flowers was amazing, especially at night. The accommodations for the bride and her attendants upstairs is truly refined and makes the bride feel extra-special with her own beautifully appointed dressing room (also perfect for before ceremony pictures). It could use a separate dressing area for the groom and his attendants. Our wedding will not only be remembered fondly by us, but every person that attended commented repeatedly about Crenshaw Hall and the grounds. It is truly one-of-a-kind and will make your wedding or other occasion very memorable

My name is Holly Pace, I got married to the man of my dreams. Crenshaw Hall is so beautiful and perfect for anyone. I fell in love with it the moment i saw it. My husband is in the Marine Corp, so we only had two months to plan the wedding. Christie really helped me out with everything. She did such a great job for so little time. Thank toy so much for everything you have done for my husband and I.

We held the wedding reception for our daughter and new son-in-law at Crenshaw Hall this past June. I must say that the venue was wonderful. The folks from Crenshaw came through with everything that they promised us when we made our reservation. The setting was delightful for the pre-wedding preparations. Serving appetizers in the house let our guests visit and enjoy viewing pictures of the bride and groom. Later in the tent we had a very beautiful setting for eating from the buffet and dancing.
